Cory Marks is a country-rock phenom and a licensed pilot. He was born in North Bay, growing up with a passion for ice hockey, flying and playing drums. His hero was Rush's Neil Peart.
He began performing music live at a local bar on a dare while attending the Royal Military College, where he was studying to become a fighter pilot.
The title track is, according to Marks, about his “mentality to just keep moving forward, doing your thing. Don’t stop, don’t quit, don’t give up,” a lesson not just in the competitive music business, but in life itself. “In Me I Trust” -- also directed towards his fans, is about believing in yourself. “You’re the only one you can trust. You have to keep yourself motivated to achieve your goals by putting in the work, because nobody will do that for you.”
